We always know we invited a great band to come to Ardent to visit when the control room is full while we’re recording the show. Maps & Atlases illustrated this perfectly as Studio Manager Jody Stephens and Booking Manager Dan Russo dropped by to hang out this afternoon along with several other studio employees. This band definitely did not disappoint, playing three stripped down songs for us including a brand new song off their upcoming release on Barsuk, Beware and Be Grateful.
Maps & Atlases are in town to play the Fareveller Music Festival which kicks off tonight at Young Avenue Deli. Ume will open for them tonight at 10 and then the festival will continue through Saturday at three venues with over 20 acts.
