We weren’t very familiar with JJ Grey and Mofro until one of Ardent’s long time engineers, Adam Hill, came to our desk yesterday and told us he had booked a last minute podcast with the soulful lead singer. We have not listened to anything but JJ Grey since, and we love it!
JJ stopped in this afternoon to chat bout his new DVD/Live CD Brighter Days and to talk about the music that moves him. Plus he played a few acoustic tunes for us. He’s playing the Hitone tonight with his full band and we can’t wait to see it! In the meantime, check out the our little show and then we’ll see you tonight at The Hitone!
